Garden House
The Garden House The Garden House is a cosy and secluded studio apartment for two people that overlooks our lush garden and is the ideal choice for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Appointed to a high standard with natural materials, such as oak parquet ceiling and floors and linen curtains, and decorated in soothing natural colours, it blends harmoniously with its surroundings. Large patio doors lead out onto a spacious and private terrace with a dining table and chairs and a wooden sofa. With planters containing tall shrubs and flowers on both sides and a garden gate for added privacy, it’s the perfect place to enjoy an al-fresco meal or simply to relax and unwind. The bedroom is a calm and luxurious space, featuring a Coco-Mat queen-sized bed and mattress made from all natural materials, luxury Sampedro bed linen, linen curtains, a desk and chair, and a spacious closet area near the entrance to the bathroom to help keep the apartment tidy. A 50” TV on a rotating wall mount allows you to watch TV from any angle in the room and, most comfortably, from the bed. The kitchenette is fully equipped and includes a Gaggenau fridge and two electric hobs, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, orange juicer, toaster and stylish Costa Nova tableware. We also welcome our guests with complimentary coffee pods, Gorreana tea from the Azores, sugar, a bottle of wine and mineral water and a selection of soft drinks. The elegant cement and marble bathroom with white, uneven stucco walls, reminiscent of southern Portugal, features a shower enclosure with a steam shower and marble stool, toilet with a high-tech Toto bidet toilet seat, washbasin, heated towel rail, plush Abyss & Habidecor towels and a selection of toiletries. The Garden House also has underfloor heating in the bedroom, closet, kitchenette and bathroom to keep you toasty during the cooler months and has central air conditioning to keep you feeling refreshed on hot summer days. All guests are welcome to make full use of the shared outdoor facilities. These include the refreshing plunge pool, which is heated to 32°C all year round, the sunbathing area at the end of the pool, the attractive pool deck with its sofas, loungers and parasols, as well as the dining table. On the level below the Garden House is our private dry sauna and our wellness deck, where you can arrange to have your own private yoga class, treat yourself to a soothing massage or get your heart pumping with your own personal trainer. Pedro can arrange these special services for you upon request for an additional fee. Access to The Garden House is via the garden entrance through a secure gate at street level. Follow the steps that lead down from the street entrance, pass by the main house and continue downwards until you reach the level between the pool area and the garden. The outdoor areas within the grounds have CCTV for added security and peace of mind. Thanks to Portugal’s Mediterranean climate, you can enjoy a holiday at The Garden House all year round. While summer is naturally the peak season and the most popular time to visit, there is also plenty to do and see in the off-season and The Garden House is in a prime location for exploring the surrounding area. Around 5 km from Estoril’s famous Casino, 7 km from the wild and rugged beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, 18 km from the stunning medieval town of Sintra with its beautiful palaces and parks, and within walking distance to the centre of Cascais, where you can wander through quaint cobbled streets, do a spot of shopping, stop for a coffee and Pastel de nata, enjoy a delicious meal at one of the town’s many cafés and restaurants, or simply relax and soak up the sun on the golden sandy beaches. If you’re in the mood for adventure, Portugal’s vibrant capital Lisbon is just a 35-minute train ride away.
Guest House
The Guest House is warm and welcoming and has been designed using an abundance of natural materials and colours to create a soothing, calming ambience. This open-plan, deluxe studio apartment has its own private terrace and comfortably sleeps two people. The sleeping area consists of a large king-sized bed, bedside tables and wardrobe and is separated by a metre-tall wooden divider from the kitchen and lounge area which features a comfortable corner sofa and bookshelves. The kitchenette is fully equipped with top-of-the-range Gaggenau appliances, including a fridge, dishwasher, electric hob and extractor fan, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, orange juicer, toaster and stylish Costa Nova tableware, allowing you to be completely self-sufficient. We also welcome our guests with complimentary coffee pods, Gorreana tea from the Azores, sugar, a bottle of wine, mineral water and a selection of soft drinks. The elegant white marble bathroom features a steam shower cabin, washbasin, toilet, heated towel rail, plushAbyss & Habidecor towels and selection of toiletries. The Guest House also has underfloor heating throughout for the cooler months and central air conditioning to keep you cool on hot days. Private Pavilion
The Pool Pavilion is a calm and fresh space, consisting on two bedroom suites and a kitchen with dinning table and a private garden with plunge pool, featuring Coco-Mat queen-sized beds and mattresses made from all natural materials, luxury Sampedro bed linen, linen curtains, a desk and chair, and a spacious closet area near the entrance to the bathroom to help keep the apartment tidy. A 55” TV on a rotating wall mount allows you to watch TV from any angle of each of the bedrooms and, most comfortably, from the bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with Míele appliances like the fridge, the two induction hobs, the eletric teppan yaki, the dishwasher, the washing and drying machine, the microwave with grill and the cooker hood. In addition a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle, a orange juicer, a toaster and stylish Costa Nova tableware.
