Guest House
The Guest House is warm and welcoming and has been designed using an abundance of natural materials and colours to create a soothing, calming ambience. This open-plan, deluxe studio apartment has its own private terrace and comfortably sleeps two people. The sleeping area consists of a large king-sized bed, bedside tables and wardrobe and is separated by a metre-tall wooden divider from the kitchen and lounge area which features a comfortable corner sofa and bookshelves. The kitchenette is fully equipped with top-of-the-range Gaggenau appliances, including a fridge, dishwasher, electric hob and extractor fan, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, orange juicer, toaster and stylish Costa Nova tableware, allowing you to be completely self-sufficient. We also welcome our guests with complimentary coffee pods, Gorreana tea from the Azores, sugar, a bottle of wine, mineral water and a selection of soft drinks. The elegant white marble bathroom features a steam shower cabin, washbasin, toilet, heated towel rail, plushAbyss & Habidecor towels and selection of toiletries. The Guest House also has underfloor heating throughout for the cooler months and central air conditioning to keep you cool on hot days. Two separate patio doors lead out onto a private terrace with its own table and chairs. Guests can also use the large dining table on the pool deck, which provides the perfect place to enjoy a light meal or sip a glass of wine. All guests are welcome to make full use of the shared outdoor facilities. These include the refreshing plunge pool, which is heated to 32°C all year round, the sunbathing area at the end of the pool, the attractive pool deck with its sofas, loungers and parasols, as well as the dining table. A set of stairs leads down from the pool deck to the lush garden below, where You can find our private dry sauna and our wellness deck, where you can arrange to have your own private yoga class, in the privacy of the garden, treat yourself to a soothing massage or get your heart pumping with your own personal trainer. Pedro can arrange these special services for you upon request for an additional fee. Access to The Guest House is via the garden entrance through a secure gate at street level. A set of stairs leads from the street entrance, past the main house and down to the apartment. The outdoor areas within the grounds also have CCTV for added security and peace of mind. Thanks to Portugal’s Mediterranean climate, you can enjoy a holiday at The Guest House all year round. While summer is naturally the peak season and the most popular time to visit, there is also plenty to do and see in the off-season and The Guest House is in a prime location for exploring the surrounding area. Around 5 km from Estoril’s famous Casino, 7 km from the wild and rugged beaches of the Atlantic ocean, 18 km from the stunning medieval town of Sintra with its beautiful palaces and parks, and within walking distance to the centre of Cascais, where you can wander through quaint cobbled streets, do a spot of shopping, stop for a coffee and Pastel de nata, enjoy a delicious meal at one of the town’s many cafés and restaurants, or simply relax and soak up the sun on the golden sandy beaches. If you’re in the mood for adventure, Portugal’s vibrant capital Lisbon is just a 35-minute train ride away
