Whether you are planning a beach holiday, a city break, or both, you can luxuriate in our modern, stylish and exquisitely-appointed studio apartments in the charming Portuguese fishing town of Cascais. Our three self-contained, deluxe studio apartments are tucked away within the grounds of our home on the outskirts of the historic centre of Cascais, within easy walking distance of the beach, shops, museums, many restaurants and cafés, and a short 35-minute train ride to the centre of Lisbon. Each apartment is unique in its design, featuring hand-crafted furniture and tasteful interiors, using natural materials and textures to create a calming, peaceful atmosphere where guests can relax and rejuvenate. Your amiable host, Pedro, is an economics graduate with a passion for Portuguese design and history, who loves to travel. His open, curious nature is reflected in his wide range of interests, which include cycling, hiking, reading, skiing and roller blading, as well as a love of dogs and horses and a passion for the ocean. He also speaks several languages, including fluent Portuguese and English, as well as Spanish, French and Italian. Pedro discovered the interesting and unusual-shaped plot, which has now been transformed into Cascais Guest Houses, around six years and envisioned and designed every aspect of this unique property, from the architecture and construction to the interiors. Pedro’s passion for history and design combined with his creative flair and eye for detail are reflected throughout the property – from the delightful garden with its plunge pool, sunbathing and dining area, its lush lawn and tropical plants providing welcome shade and privacy, to the lovingly styled studio apartments themselves. Each studio is unique in its design, equipped to a high standard with custom-built furniture and kitchen units, top-of-the-range Gaggenau appliances, underfloor heating and central air conditioning, and is tastefully and elegantly furnished using natural materials and fibres, such as linen wallpaper and Costa Nova crockery, to create an intimate and relaxing ambience in harmony with nature. Pedro also prides himself on providing his guests with a personal service – from greeting new arrivals, to advising guests on things to see and do, to arranging additional services, such as massage treatments, personal trainers or yoga sessions to make their stay extra special. He is often also around for a coffee and a friendly chat. Cascais Guest Houses is an extremely rare find where you can enjoy a wonderfully relaxing holiday in stylish and peaceful surroundings, yet close to all amenities.
